Teaching Assistant

Merlin School is looking for an inspiring and passionate individual to join our enthusiastic and creative team of staff. The Teaching Assistant role for Reception to Year 3, is a permanent, full time position, starting on 1st September 2025. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.15am – 4.30pm, term time only.

Merlin School is a well-established independent co-educational pre-prep for children aged 4-8 years, situated in Putney, London. We are non-selective and truly inclusive, providing a highly individualised education with a focus on breadth in the curriculum. Our dedicated and enthusiastic team cater to the individual needs and interests of every child, delivering the curriculum with creativity and high expectations for each child, ensuring children reach their full potential. Support and an induction into the Merlin teaching programme is given to all new members of staff. The candidate must be proactive, motivated and adaptable, with the ability to cope with a busy timetable.
