French

French lessons at Merlin are fun, interactive and practical, full of songs and games. Children cover a variety of topics throughout their time at Merlin, from basic greetings, numbers and colours, to animals, body parts, weather, family, and food.

Children build an understanding of French culture as well as expression and styles of communication. The children are exposed to reading and writing a different and, for those who speak French at home, extension activities are personalised to those children by our native speaking French teacher.
